Surrey Ride Over Dona Bay Trestle

The 2011-2012 Surrey Program offers a way for mobility challenged residents and visitors who would otherwise be unable to share in The Legacy Trail experience.  The Surrey will be leaving for one-hour trips from the Laurel Community Center and Trailhead (LCC) every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 1: 00 pm and 2:00 pm. The LCC is at 509 Collins Rd. Laurel. A map of the LCC area is at http://www.legacytrailfriends.org/html/laurel.html . FLT volunteers provide the pedal-power while the passengers sit back and enjoy the ride.  The rides are free.  If you wish to register for a trip, go to www.scgov.net click on calendar of events and go to month, date and time you would like to ride.

The Surrey is a donation by FLT to Sarasota County to promote the Legacy Trail and County Parks.  Funds for the Surrey are from the Tour de Parks 2010.
