Memorial / Tribute Naming Opportunities

The Friends of Sarasota County Parks (FOSCP) recognizes the heartfelt intent of these gifts and has provided opportunities to recognize those you love and hold dear to your heart, as well as making an investment in the lives of those who remain behind.

Tribute gifts are a special way to acknowledge the important people living in your life. Tribute gifts are often given on special occasions to show appreciation for someone's kindness or to recognize their impact on your life.

Memorial gifts are a testimonial to the meaningfulness of a life that has passed on.  An opportunity to provide a lasting tribute to a loved one, to somebody held in high regard, or for one’s own recognition of service.  Establishing a memorial will provide a way to be acknowledged and enriched by future generations.

For significant gifts, FOSCP offers unique naming opportunities within Sarasota County parks system.  The naming of park facilities offers a unique way to acknowledge the philanthropic support of parks and recreation.  Some of the opportunities are:

  • New and Existing Buildings, Classrooms, Halls
  • New and Existing Parks, Ballfields, Tennis Courts
  • Forever Green Endowment

Naming opportunities begin at $100 for a engraved paver.  We would be happy to discuss how these opportunities may meet your desires to give and be recognized.  Your memorial/tribute opportunities are not limited to the “Contribution” catalog.  If you have a sponsorship opportunity you would like to suggest, please call 941-275-9397. FOSCP, in turn, forwards approved proposals over $50,000 to the Sarasota County Commission for their endorsement.

Thank you for your generous support of the Friends of Sarasota County Parks.  We are grateful for your support!
